Although the economy has effected the construction industry, along with most other industries, Stethen-Smith has maintained its strong & stable presence as a regional general contractor.
In 2009, Stethen-Smith has wrapped up 2 Walgreens projects in Kentucky. In addition, we were selected by Walgreens to finish another project in the Bluegrass State, that had fallen victim to a financially unstable builder. We took this selection as a great honor, knowing that Walgreens recognizes our strength, stability, & expertise.
In early 2009, we also provided Dixie Lee Baptist Church with an addition to their church campus. We are proud to provide this growing church body with additional space for their congregation.
Looking ahead, we look forward to the completion of our Subway project in Williamsburg, KY. We continue to enjoy our working relationship with area franchisees, as well as our relationship with the Subway company. |

| The year 2008 is flying by. As August comes to an end, we would like to announce the completion of 3 more projects. We have just finished the Walgreens in Dalton, GA. From the footers up, this was our company’s quickest Walgreens project to date. Additionally, we set a company record with our smallest Walgreens generated punchlist. Additionally, we have recently completed our Walgreens project in Livingston, TN. This project was a new challenge for us, as we had to relocate the Subway Restaurant that previously sat in the new Walgreens location. This entailed building a new free-standing restaurant next door to the Walgreens. This new Subway is one of the best looking locations we have seen. We are very proud of it. |

Stethen-Smith Construction Company wrapped up 2007 along with three great projects.
After a strong year, 2007 came to a close with a bang. Walgreens projects in Dunlap, TN & Maryville, TN are winding down and we are very proud of both projects. With the surrounding mountains, Dunlap is a very impressive store. Setting a new Stethen-Smith record, the Maryville project was finished in 4.5 months, with a minimal punchlist.
Along with the Walgreens projects, we have also recently wrapped up a 10 million dollar expansion for First Baptist Lenoir City. Working with Community Tectonics, this project flowed very well and will prove to be a keystone project for our company.
Looking forward to 2008, we will soon begin a Walgreens in Dalton, GA; a expansion for Dixie Lee Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN; a Walgreens in Livingston, TN; and a Subway Restaurant in Livingston, TN. |
